The first time I sold a custom program was in 1993, when I was a kid, to the manager of a small parapharmacy wholesaler in my hometown. Since then I’ve kept building software with the same goal: to solve real problems with simple solutions. Today I focus on financial (see quantitative section) and on tools that keep businesses running.

Business software should be simple, reliable, and compliant. Boring software is a strength — it means it works, day after day, without drama. You hire me so you don’t have to think about it again.

ABBEX™ MICRO SaaS

Custom B2B Applications — Delivered Fast and Fully Managed

ABBEX MICRO SaaS

ABBEX Micro SaaS was born from a real project. A company had just secured a major contract with a Tier-1 European telecom carrier and urgently needed an auxiliary software component to deliver it.

Two small consultancy firms had already declined — the budget was too tight, the deadline too close. Within weeks, I delivered the complete solution on time and within budget, with no compromises on quality, compliance, security, or operations.

That experience led to the further development of both a technical framework and delivery methodology to launch fit-for-purpose B2B micro SaaS applications quickly and securely.

Created in collaboration with another freelancer, it enables us to build tailor-made software with strong usability, full FADP and GDPR compliance from minute zero, and minimal client effort.

Each system is delivered as a fully managed service — the customer needs literally zero maintenance or setup. Delivery is measured in weeks, not months, and at a fraction of the usual cost.

Your own SaaS without the hassle

ABBEX MICRO SaaS is a framework and a proven delivery methodology to build project and mission-specific SaaS in weeks at a fraction of a cost, fully compliant with GDPR/FADP and at a fraction of a cost.

ABBEX™ Small Business ERP

Nearly a Decade helping small business owners

SME ERP

For nearly a decade I worked closely with small business owners who faced real operational constraints yet built competitive and highly profitable companies.

I understand perfectly the frustration of the small owners, who face constant lack of specialised staff and resources to implement the technology solutions that larger companies can afford.

My focus was on keeping their ERP systems not just running, but precisely tuned to their way of doing business — delivering custom solutions that fit their workflows instead of forcing them into rigid templates.

It is not only about the software — I sit down with the owner, review the operations in detail, and provide feedback and guidance based on my experience to identify what truly fits and delivers value.

One case involved a small hardware wholesaler who was expanding to launch a franchise network. Their ERP couldn’t manage the complex catalog management (tens of thousands of parametric references), including the technical parameters required across outlets. Standard vendor solutions meant high costs, long delays, and frequent data-entry errors. I built a custom module to automate catalog handling and parameter management, cutting both time and errors dramatically and enabling the technical feasibility of the project.

In the industrial labeling and printing industry, another client faced the combined challenge of drop-shipping operations, practically infinite product codes, and variations between ordered and delivered quantities — variations that were common and accepted in the sector but difficult to track and invoice properly. I developed customized modules that automated product code handling, streamlined the logistics workflow, and ensured precise invoicing despite these inherent variations.

These projects were far superior to the standard ERPs, as SME lack the resources. It is an environment where a few concrete improvement make a great difference and everything needs to be done paying attention to avoid overhead and being cost sensitive.

Truly customised ERP for SMEs

Today, this experience has evolved into a Micro SaaS delivery model, where a customised ERP can be provided as a fully managed service, fully compliant with FADP and GDPR, covering all the basic features and the customisations needed by the small business. It is also now being extended to meet the new e-invoice regulations across Europe.

ABBEX™ Document Generator

Automated Quotation and Catalog System for Industrial Supply

Proposal

I completed this tool as an initial requirement from an industrial supply company. Preparing quotations was a demanding and repetitive task.

Each proposal needed to include precise technical descriptions, commercial terms, and a personalised cover letter. Because the products were high-value and technically specific, every document had to project professionalism and reliability — a poorly written proposal could easily weaken customer confidence.

To address this, I developed a software module that automatically generates complete commercial proposals. It assembles product descriptions, pricing, and delivery terms, and adds a customer-specific cover letter, producing a polished, ready-to-send PDF. The software was designed to be integrated within a ERP system or fed directly with data.

I reused the same technology adapted for a wholesale hardware customer to automate catalog generation, handling tens of thousands of product references with dynamic layouts and updated technical data and enabling the generation of high quality PDFs at a fraction of the cost that larger wholesalers employ.

Together, these implementations reduced the time spent preparing written proposals and catalogs from hours or days to just minutes, while maintaining a consistent, high-quality presentation across all documents.
